HEALING QUALITIES OF HEMATITE:

Hematite is a grounding stone that is mostly used for protection and stability. The word “hematite” is derived from a Greek word that means “blood.” As a result, it is known as the “bloodstone” and has been employed in ancient times as a talisman against excessive blood flow. Hematite is a kind of iron ore that is made up of iron oxide crystals hence the weight of the beads.

The most effective grounding stone, hematite, promotes stability and protection. When natural, it’s opaque red or gray, and when tumbled, it’s gray with a mirror-like shine as in this mala necklace.

WHAT IS A DORJE?

Dorje is a Sanskrit word meaning thunderbolt and diamond. A double dorje, or vishvavajra, are two dorjes connected to form a cross. A double Dorje represents the foundation of the physical world and is also associated with certain tantric deities.

In Tibetan Buddhism the dorje is a representation of a thunderbolt in the form of a short double trident or scepter, symbolizing the male aspect of the spirit and held during invocations and prayers. ‘The handbell and the dorje are the principal ritual objects of Tantric Buddhism.

It also represents firmness of spirit and spiritual power. It possesses the symbolic nature of both a diamond, strong with the ability to cut any surface but not be cut itself and the thunderbolt, a powerful and irresistible force of enlightenment.

The Tibetan Dorje is a symbol for the nature of reality, indicating endless creativity, potency, and skillful activity. Known for its double facets, the shape of the Dorje symbolizes the two forms of truth, relative and absolute. It is joined together by a brass center sphere known as the sphere of reality.

Since the beads and pendants used in my Malas are natural gemstones, color and shape may vary slightly from the listing photos.
