My name is Kaaren Jordan. My creation of these Malas evolved out of the desire to extend the reach of my healing work using the vehicle of wearable art. The ancient feminine art of adornment is an expression of creativity, but with my jewelry, which is actually wearable art, it can also be a vehicle for healing. Each of these one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces of wearable art is created to use the healing and chakra balancing qualities of the gemstones.
Since 1986, I have been a holistic health care practitioner specializing in women’s wellness, natural facial rejuvenation and weight loss, using the modalities of foods as medicine, Jin Shin acupressure, and remote healing.
In my holistic health care practice, I offer both in-person and remote healing sessions, and I use these abilities to infuse all jewelry that I make with my deep love and a harmonizing energy. Each original piece I design and make by hand is an extension of my work as a healer. I infuse each unique piece of jewelry with my love and many people say that they actually feel this love when they are wearing them.
Because of this, each piece carries a special energetic signature that sets in motion a transformation in the wearer’s body, mind, and spirit. The individual pieces of healing jewelry also generate a special synergistic energy by consciously combining specific gemstones and crystals for their harmonizing and chakra balancing qualities as well as for a fashion accessory.
My hope is that each handmade piece will bring joy, comfort and healing to the men and women who wear them and use them in their spiritual practices.
Over the past 19 years, my one-of-a-kind designs have been sold through boutiques in New York on Madison Avenue, in LA, in San Francisco, in Philadelphia…and even in the Santa Ynez Valley where I lived for 25 years.
I also have an Etsy shop that has served as my ecommerce website and catalogue since 2011. The Malas that you see here, and the healing jewelry on my Etsy shop, are an expression of my love, and support my desire to see everyone healthy, prosperous, and happy.
